Location: NW Tucson (Outside City Limits)
Target: Moon, Bird Hunting
Well
I finally got a digital camera. It is a Nikon Coolpix 3100. You can read
about the specs on the camera
here, and
here. Since I do not have a way of
mounting the camera to the telescope yet, I was forced to hold the camera
up to the eyepiece as steadily as I could. I don't know of a way to turn
the auto focuser off, so I had to take a few pictures to get one that
turned out. After reading the manual I think I may be able to find a way
around it trying to focus all the time.
I also played around with some Night settings, which
allowed me to take some neat pictures of the telescope. Also, my bird
loves helping me set up all my observing equipment, so he is in a few
shots as well.
